The more we are drawn into the light of Jesus, the more we have our eyes opened by the gospel. The more we have our eyes opened by the gospel, the more things we see, the more we see how the old world is captive to the powers of darkness and the forces of death, the more ways we see that the shadows fall across us, across that world we assumed was so stable, and the less we can feel at ease in the world as it is. To be given sight by Jesus is to participate in the collision of moral worlds.
