I’ve always thought, “We need each other.” Liberals need each other (and vice-versa). Cocky folks need timid people. Spirituals need the skeptical. We learn off each other and benefit.

Both optimists and pessimists contribute to society. The optimist invents the airplane, and the pessimist invents the parachute.
