Worship is both the heart and heartache of contemporary religious life. In many churches, worship is an exciting, meaningful and inspirational moment. In many churches of today, however, worship is a battleground for its membership, an opportunity for fracturing and dividing a congregation.
The truth is that the worship of God should be a dynamic that bonds us together for the work to which God has called us. It should not be a source of discontentment and a wounding of hearts.
